Albers Log Cabin Class (Confident Beginner)(Session 1). 5 Day In-Person Retreat. Jennifer teaches how to create sparkle and glow, showcasing the power of color and its placement in quilts. Embark on color discovery by trying new combinations and relativity techniques. You will learn how to sew precise, refined Log Cabin blocks in different ways. Use 16 full range SKY ombrés (or ombrés of your choice) mixed with blenders and basics from your stash.

SKY is the Limit. (Confident Beginner)(Session 4). 5 Day In-Person Retreat. Hone your skills to master the use of color and gain a deeper understanding of hue and value play. Using basic sewing skills, create blocks to discover new color combos. Working with SKY or other ombrés, learn the nuance of shades and value. We will focus on simple blocks (HSTs, log cabins, or granny squares) to discover how colors interact, blend and transform.
